Fairfax Media To Cut 550 Jobs In Australia, Nz

FAIRFAX Media's chief executive, David Kirk, will oversee a third redundancy round in three years, with 550 jobs to go as investors become increasingly sceptical about the company's ability to increase earnings in a slowing advertising market.
